How to disconnect Meta, delete data imported by Keypoint Lens, delete your Lens account and request help by email.
1. Meta data stored by Lens
When you authorize the Keypoint Lens app, we store your Meta user ID and name, granted permissions, expiration dates and an encrypted access token. We never store your Facebook password.
We store ad account IDs, names, currency, time zone and status; campaigns, ad sets and ads with names, status, objectives, budgets and bids; creatives with copy, titles, links, image and thumbnail URLs, video and Page IDs. We also store the links between accounts or campaigns and the sites you selected.
Daily metrics include spend, impressions, reach, frequency, clicks, page views, funnel events, purchases and purchase value, conversations, leads and video views. We also store read coverage and sync records, such as timestamps and error codes. This data is read from authorized accounts using ads_read.
2. How to disconnect Meta
Sign in to Lens and open Integrações (Integrations) in the sidebar. On mobile, open Mais › Integrações (More › Integrations). In the Meta Ads card, click Desconectar (Disconnect), then confirm with Desconectar. You must be an owner or administrator of the selected organization. These are the current labels in the Lens app.
On confirmation, Lens immediately deletes its local token and stops new syncs. It also asks Meta to revoke the permission. If Meta is unavailable, the local token stays deleted; you can remove the app on Facebook using section 5.
3. Retention and reconnection
Previously imported data remains available during a 30-day retention window after disconnection. Deletion is scheduled for the end of that window and performed automatically by the worker in small batches: accounts, campaigns, ad sets, ads, creatives, metrics, sync records and links belonging to that connection are deleted. This schedule is independent of your plan and remains in effect even if the integration is disabled.
Reconnecting the same Meta account before the 30 days end cancels this cleanup and resumes reading. Deleting a connection does not delete another organization’s data. Reconnecting after deletion does not restore the deleted data; new reads depend on what Meta makes available.
4. How to delete your entire Lens account
Open Minha conta (My account) in the Lens menu. On mobile, open Mais › Minha conta. Go to Excluir minha conta (Delete my account), then click Quero excluir minha conta. Review the affected organizations, verify with your password or the code emailed to you, type EXCLUIR and confirm with Excluir minha conta.
Your user profile, login and sessions are deleted immediately. For organizations where you are the last owner, deletion of organization data is scheduled for 30 days later and includes all Meta connections and data. You receive confirmation by email. If another owner remains, the organization and its shared data remain; disconnect Meta first or request help using the email below. Tax and audit records may be retained as described in the Privacy Policy.
5. Remove the app on Facebook
On Facebook, open Settings & privacy › Settings › Business integrations, select Keypoint Lens and click Remove, then confirm. This revokes access at Meta. When we receive Meta’s deauthorization notification, we delete the local token and schedule the same cleanup in 30 days.
If Meta also forwards a data deletion request, Meta data linked to that account is deleted when that request is processed, and a status page with a confirmation code reports completion. To request deletion directly from Lens, use the contact below.
6. Request deletion by email
Write to [email protected] with the subject “Data deletion — Keypoint Lens”. Include your Lens email address, organization name and whether you want only Meta data or your entire account deleted. Include your ad account ID if you know it. Do not send passwords, tokens or unsolicited identity documents.
We will acknowledge receipt and may request the minimum information needed to verify your identity and authority. Our deadline to complete deletion is within 30 days after verification. If a record must be retained by law, we will explain which data and why. You can also use this channel if you cannot sign in.
